Flitepad is a high-performance tablet that combines a full Microsoft® Windows Operating System, ruggedised design, and touch-screen functionality (glove compatible).
Flitepad’s primary function is to provide a next-generation user interface for Helitune’s Rotortuner systems, including the RT-6, RT-2000, and the RT-5JS+. The product’s universal design can be readily configured for other aviation and harsh environment applications.

Designer Systems developed the internal system hardware and embedded software which includes the following features:

  • Powered from standard 28VDC helicopter supply with full supply conditioning.
  • Dual Lithium-Ion battery support with balanced charging.
  • Single Board Computer (SBC) running Windows operating system on uSATA drive.
  • Fully monitored power chain with I2C register access to on-board voltages and currents.
  • Microcontroller system managment processor.
  • Gigabit Ethernet, dual USB2.0, RS232/RS422 & RS485 interfaces.
  • Ultra compact fanless design with multi-zone temperature montoring.
  • Sunlight readable LVDS TFT display with high speed touch screen.
  • Eight [8] layer high-speed impedance matched PCB design.
