ntl:broadcast commissions Designer Systems to re-develop an existing product know as the 'Hiss box'. The original product was large, being manufactured using conventional technology, and featured a part no longer manufactured. Designer Systems developed a microcontroller replacement for the part, re-designed the circuitry using surface mount technology, re-packaged and manufactured a batch for a new application.

June 2004 - Designer Systems completes development of vehicle audio/video selection and amplification unit.....
The Audio Video Selection Interface (AVSI) was completed for a client for integration in to new Volvo cars. The interface is capable of the multiple display of single audio visual sources (DVD, Game console etc.) and 4channel stereo speaker amplification. Full control of selection, volume and other features is controlled by the directional use of the DVD player IR remote control.
