Description
The Designer Systems range of Industrial LCD module backer solutions provide a simple means of connecting any device capable of standard RS232 serial, RS485 serial or I2C communication to a standard Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panel of 16 x 2, 20 x 2, 40 x 2 or 20 x 4 character/lines. These modules provide complete control of character placement, customisation and cursor movement to ensure that your application is up-and-running in a fraction of the time necessary to implement the standard LCD control protocol. All feature on-board supply regulation for both LCD supply and backlight, and also include fully 'jumperless' setup of internal features over the serial/I2C link. The modules simply piggy-back on the LCD module to form a compact solution. Select from a very simple RS232 interface (LCDD3), RS232 / I2C interface with keypad input (LCDD4), RS232  I2C interface with RGB  multi-colour backlight support (LCDD5), RS232 / I2C interface for graphic LCD (LCDD6) or Industrial grade RS485 interface with wide supply voltage (LCDD7I).
All solutions can be supplied without LCD panel or fitted with a 16 x 2, 20 x 2, 40 x 2 or 20 x 4 character/lines panel and tested.
