Description
The DVD-P9 interfaces permit nine Normally Open (NO) momentary action switches the control of a Pioneer DVD-V7X00 player. The DVD-P9 issues standard Pioneer commands that in-turn control the actions performed by the player. The P9+ standard actions include PLAY, PAUSE, STILL, STEP FWD etc., the P9CH produces search and play to Title 1, Chapter 1-9 and the P9TI produces search and play to Title 1-9.
All three versions also support the connection of an external Infra-red proximity detector (see DVD-PRX) which responds to pedestrians by issuing the player with a PLAY command.
